So you have finally picked your favorite mountain Destination Wedding spot.  Well, of course you picked Jackson Hole!  As a “true” born raised Jackson gal I know the perstige and beauty of this wonderful, cozy little mountain town and why wouldn’t you say your I DO’s under those majestic mountains.  Now that you have that covered…what now?!  Here is a FREE guide to finding your way around and booking your Bridal Beauty needs from a local! I hope you enjoy!

1. SHOP LOCAL
DO. YOUR. RESEARCH!   In this day and age you can get pretty tech savvy online finding a beauty proffesional that is exactly what you are looking for but don’t get sucked down the rabbit hole.  Ask around; ask your venue’s event manager, photographers, wedding planners, florists, your friends, your neighbors sisters friends!  Also check out the local Bridal Magazines, Rocky Mountain Bride, social media, get recommendations from around town. When booking your destination Hair & Makeup you get a bonus cause us Pros out here live in this temperament climate and  will have a good sense of how to ensure your ‘do doesn’t deflate and your foundation remains radiant!

2.DON’T WAIT UNTIL LAST MINUTE

Jackson Hole was rated the top Destination Wedding spot, so don’t fool yourself just becasue it’s a little ole’ town that things don’t get booked up fast and I mean FAST! Having over 600 weddings last summer, there comes no surprise that weekday elopements are trending. So don’t HOLE back, get your contracts in pronto.  Signed, sealed and delivered!

3. TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE

Squeeze in as many tryouts as you can during trips for site visits, catering or vendor visits.  I always recommend even if you have already had a trial run to set up a Rehersal Dinner Hair & Makeup session if you have decided to go another route or want something different with your makeup.  You will also most likey have photos taken during rehersal and you get a 2 for 1 since you will be all dolled up and camera ready with an ease of how the next day will go. Also, set up a phone call to ensure you communicate well, especially if you aren’t fluid in each other’s language. You need to decide if your personalities mesh well and if you are the right fit for each other.

~With over 5,000 weddings under my belt and over a decade helping brides like you feel your absolute best on your wedding day, I hope you find this mini guide helpful when planning your Jackson Hole Wedding.  If you need anything please feel free to reach out.  Until next time!
